Rajinikanth is doing fine, says his relative Y Gee Mahendran

Rajinikanth was admitted to the Kauvery Hospital in Chennai on the night of October 28. His relative, Y Gee Mahendran, met him at the hospital and shared his health update.

Superstar Rajinikanth is doing fine and he is currently resting at Kauvery Hospital in Chennai. His relative, Y Gee Mahendran, visited him at the hospital and shared his health update with the media. In addition, Mahendran said that Rajinikanth is likely to be discharged from the hospital before the release of Annaatthe. As reported earlier, Annaatthe will release in theatres on November 4.

RAJINIKANTH IS DOING FINE, SAYS Y GEE MAHENDRAN

On October 28, Rajinikanth had a health scare and was admitted to the Kauvery Hospital in Chennai. While his wife Latha and his team revealed that it was a routine health check-up, many reports suggested that he was admitted after complaining of chest pain and uneasiness.

 

His relative Y Gee Mahendran met Rajinikanth at the hospital and shared his health update. Speaking to the media, he said, "Rajinikanth is taking rest at the hospital. I am not sure of the treatment he is getting right now. But, he would have been discharged by the time Annaatthe hits the screens."

Rajinikanth's publicist Riaz K Ahmed told PTI, "It is a health checkup done routinely on a periodical basis. He is now in a private hospital for the checkup."

RAJINIKANTH'S HEALTH SCARE IN 2020

Rajinikanth was in New Delhi on October 25 where he received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. After the ceremony, he met President Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Photos of their meeting went crazy viral on social media.

In December 2020, the Darbar actor was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad after fluctuations in his blood pressure. He was shooting for Annaatthe back then. After receiving treatment for two days, he was discharged from the hospital.

It was after this health scare that Rajinikanth announced that he would not be starting a political party as planned before.
