Anil Vij further said in an official statement that the private educational institutions in the state will get the benefit amounting to Rs 23.50 crore.
Background and ground benefits
Adding to his statement, the Home and Urban Local Bodies minister further said that Manohar Lal Khattar, the Chief Minister of Haryana, has provided his approval in this regard.
He added that governmental educational buildings have already been given a one-year exemption from paying property tax.
The minister informed that in totality, all 8,986 educational institutions in the state would benefit from this decision.
This decision was taken after the state government of Haryana received a request from the Federation of Private School Welfare Associations.
