Maharashtra higher and technical education minister Chandrakant Patil yesterday announced a special ambitious scheme for students passed in Corona pandemic period. Speaking in the legislative assembly, he said that, though thousands of students have passed online examinations during pandemic, the education process had gone haywire due to which students lagged behind in studies and their mark sheets carried Corona Pass stamp. For making up the educational loss, the scheme has been brought.
According to it, all non agricultural universities will carry out Bridge Course for students who have passed in Corona pandemic period. The scheme will be applicable to all current year degree and post Graduate courses. This is an extra initiative and students can choose to opt for the course or not. The responsibility of the initiative has been entrusted to principals and teachers of colleges. Instructions have been given to appoint a special committee for implementation of the scheme. According to the scheme, minimum five periods should be organized and colleges have to prepare time table for it. In the first semester, the scheme will be started before 15th October. An examination will be conducted after the completion of course and certificates will be issued, Patil added. Credit and Sources by: newsonair
